More than a million Canadians have Dutch ancestry. This obviously means that very many Dutch people have relatives in Canada. When, why and how did these family members leave their homeland? What did they expect to find and what have they actually found? In short: what are their stories? Ten of the best Dutch comic book artists were asked to tell one of those stories. Their response led to this book. A book that shows that comic book art is an essential form of storytelling.
